Early on I realized that the household tasks that we tended to avoid before Sean arrived (scrubbing the tub, cleaning the stovetop, washing the floor, etc.) were never going to happen now that he was here. So we hired a ‘green’ cleaning company (‘green’ meaning they use vinegar, baking soda, and elbow grease), and they came today for the first time. And the apartment is CLEAN! Like really clean. Floors and counters and tables and the whole bathroom and everything! Why didn’t we do this before?

There’s this shrine on our living room ceiling to the goddess of milk. Sean worships there often, even when offered other fun activities like reading a book…
